Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the Nasdaq Life website and member terminal at nasdaq.life collect and use personal information. You can contact the service team about privacy at hello@nasdaq.life.
Information we process
- Membership and sign-in. Your email address, verification status, membership status and preferences. If you use a supported social sign-in, we receive identifiers and profile details available through that provider, such as your username, display name or avatar.
- Use of the service. Watchlists, preferences, support messages and attachments you submit, and information you provide when joining a waitlist.
- Security and device information. Session information, IP address, browser information and relevant access or security events. Optional visit measurement and advertising are described in Cookie preferences.
- Alpaca connection and orders. If you authorize a connection, we receive an OAuth access token and use the connected account identifier, account status and, as needed to check orders, account balances, positions and open orders. When you submit an order, we transmit the relevant order details to Alpaca and record the order identifier, details and status for order history and reconciliation.
Why we process it
We use this information to provide the account and features you request, verify access, respond to support requests, operate and protect the service, and comply with applicable obligations. We use optional measurement and advertising according to your choices. We access the Alpaca account only when you authorize the connection.
Service providers and disclosures
Hosting, security, email and sign-in providers may receive information needed to provide their services. Alpaca receives account and order requests when you use the integration, and handles the brokerage account under its own policies. If you enable advertising, Google may receive information as described on the cookie page. We may disclose information where required by law. Providers may process information in the countries in which they operate.
Retention and disconnection
We keep account, support, security and order records for as long as needed for the relevant feature, security, reconciliation or applicable obligations. Member Alpaca tokens are held in server memory for the connection session and removed when the connection ends or expires. You can disconnect from Nasdaq Life and manage the app authorization in Alpaca. Disconnecting does not erase past order records or cancel existing orders.
Your choices and requests
You can change optional cookie choices on the Cookie preferences page. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. For a request, email hello@nasdaq.life. We may verify your identity before responding. You may also contact your applicable data protection authority.
